FIRST COAT - Always apply the first coat to any surface as a primer coat. This requires dilution of the product to a viscosity that enables smooth and easy application. Suggested dilution of 50% Thunderstorm Solvent Rubber and 50% A Grade Lacquer Thinners to achieve maximum results when applying as primer. The primer should be applied very lightly to create a thin layer.

SECOND COAT - Apply Solvent Rubber evenly using the recommend methods (spraying, rolling and brushing) to achieve the required thickness. Ensure proper coverage without puddles or gaps. Never apply the following layer when the preceding layer is not 100% dry and cured. Always apply to solid areas and prevent any cavities under application. Use sufficient product when applying the membrane. PLEASE NOTE: Never apply the product as a thick layer, this will trap solvents inside the fast drying top layer, not allowing the product to dry completely and be 100% effective.  PLEASE NOTE: You are allowed to add 1-3 Litres of A Grade Lacquer Thinners to a 20L Solvent Rubber if you feel the product is too thick. This will NOT alter the composition of the product as all the solvents will evaporate. PLEASE NOTE that adding too much might have an effect on the durability of the colour pigments in the product. DO NOT EXCEED THESE GUIDELINES.

LAYERING - If multiple layers are required, allow each layer to dry as per manufacturer's instructions before applying the subsequent layer.

Thunderstorm Rubber is a Solvent-Based product and will be touch dry after 30-40 minutes. Incorrect application might prevent or delay the curing process. Do a thorough inspection before moving onto the next coat. This duration time varies based on environmental conditions and product specifics.
